Quite a few by the sound of it......................
Due to an error in its online ticket-selling procedures, the Italian Rugby Federation fears that up to 17,000 of the 25,000 tickets for next Saturday's game in the Stadio Flaminio have fallen into resourceful Irish hands.

Hello to you all.
This is my first post on this forum.
Just back from Edinburgh, noticed quite a few Ulster shirts.
I'm taking my two sons to Rome Wednesday evening, all with Ulster shirts for sight seeing but green for Saturday.

theres a very nice trendy cocktail bar on a side street of whatever square the spanish steps lead to, ive been there the last three times ive been in rome, i shall look up the name for you. perfect place to pick up hot italien women, its a local bar, not a tourist place
Why? Why not?

Yes, that's all very well - but will it be showing the rugby?

it seems that the only option for seeing the other games is finding an irish pub... i've been looking through the tv guides, and don't see any indication that they're on italian TV - so we'll need somewhere with a dodgy bbc hookup.

please someone tell me i'm wrong... not sure there's enough space in rome's irish bars for 20,000 of us

Went to both of these the last time I was in Rome.

http://www.trinity-rome.com
http://www.finneganpub.com

Trinity College is the bigger, and less authentic, of the two.

I watched Ireland beat the Aussies in 2002 in Finnegan's. Small enough place but there was a cracking atmosphere for the game.
