More fickle too after the way that fat turd treated them last time

Fortunately, we were committed to a 40th birthday and the ice hockey this weekend.

I did see him in 2005 at the Grand Ole Opry 80th Anniversary when I was in Nashville with a mate.

Porter Wagoner, Little Jimmy Dickens and Ralph Stanley played too. Won’t see any of them again.

Jarvis Cocker at the Whitla Hall.

He seemed convinced he was in Glasgow which was a bit embarrassing.

Old episodes of 'Cabin Pressure' from the Beeb. Gently amusing with the odd laugh out loud.

I was flickin my way down YouTube as one might do to distract the mind from back ground minor pins and needles when a short entitled "Lock Lomond" " Runrig Live @" appeared .

Now I had a vague knowledge of the Name "Runrig" but no experience of the group so I started to watch and Listen

It started with emotional heavy drumming worthy of The Pride of Raven -- what a hook

They must have done more for the SNP than 2/3 of the Members of the Scottish Parliament

I thought ' what a record to be played before a game by Glasgow or Edinburgh it would wake the crowds up

One of them is now an actual SNP member of the Scottish parliament and I think another is a Labour MP in Westminster.

I did read that that was the reason they ceased to perform ie there was no disagreement just a wish to pursue other interests by members of the group.

Ash have been around for ever and they're only in their mid 40s! Tim Wheeler's ma taught me French many years ago.

Off to Ahoghill for the Diamond Rock Club Xmas party the night. The UR debacle has made the logistics somewhat easier.

It was a really good gig.

Think they started with Goldfinger which is my fave.

Jimmy did Teenage Kicks which was fun.

Er waiting for the REM tribute band to take what passes for the stage at the Pickie Fun Park.

Less than 40 people here.

I’ve seen them before and they’re good but the singer is a bit of a diva - wouldn’t be surprised (or blame him) if he sacked it off….

Bit embarrassing when Stipe asked if there were any REM fan as in the house.

We rescued it though - good gig.

Absolutely.

Think they’re playing the prison tomorrow when the match is on

I explained my predicament to them in the bar queue during the interval.
