Aye. The records are so much better when he isn't singing along

Good idea
I wonder if it will catch on.
So long as he keeps getting the m goney, I don't think he would care!

I’ve never heard of her.

She seems to be the Tyrone version of Bobbie Gentry.

My first month in the Province has been largely dominated by U105.

Whilst I do lean towards some marginally left-field stuff, particularly post-80s, which they would generally steer clear of, I think their choice of music is pretty good indeed.

Add in the dulcet tones of Caoimhe Quinn reading the news and it’s a real winner.

Just give Frank Mitchell a wide berth.

Have to say, radio stations with ads increasingly do my head in

I suppose it’s a bit like Radio 2 with a few adverts but who doesn’t like Africa, Take On Me etc?

Tbh, it could possibly do with a bit of country. Would have worked well with my organic steak from the Sperrins tonight. The cream in my gratin came from the in-laws via Lidl and we got a whole head of kale plus some fennel from Belfast Market for a quid.

I think I like it here.

Aye, Radio 2. When I was a student in the early 80s Steve Wright was on Radio 1 from 2-5 every weekday. Nearly 40 years on, he's playing exactly the same songs in exactly the same slot.

Finding yourself listening to Radio 2 instead of Radio 1 is probably the first sign of old age.

I think that’s fair comment.

I remember Steve Wright playing a lot more Simply Red back in the day. He wouldn’t be my favourite although I do empathise with his dramatic weight gain.

Am really missing my live music. I’ve got to the point where I’m now clamouring to see the tribute acts at the Stormont Hotel.

Party at our house afterwards.

Springsteen's new album is the best thing he has done in years. Recommended, especially in these times.

Sadly, we had to leave the hot tub on the mainland Bobbie.

I reckon I could do without the parking area down the side of the house though......

I concur. I'm not really a fan but have to say, it was rather good.
