First concert ever was at U2 in Maysfield (1982) - £4 squid a ticket & first time they played "Bloody Sunday" - said if we didn't like it they would never play it again - it went down a storm .......
Next one was Thin Lizzy in Dublin 1983 I think it was ............. it ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Following year was Queen in RDS - about 10 squid a ticket & again fantastic

Mamas Boys - best thing out of Fermanagh apart from your goodself pwr remember seeing them a couple of times some pub in Newcastle springs to mind can't remember the name.
Rory Gallagher was first at the Ulster Hall in 74 still have the live album. Next big memorable ones were AC-DC at Ulster Hall & Thin Lizzy with the best line up of Robinson /Gorham (Live & Dangerous). Led Zeppelin at Knebworth think I might have met you Stew.
To add to thread best act I never will get to see 1. Jimi hendrix & 2. The Beatles.
Off to see Girls Aloud tonight

You do realise you were doing brilliantly until that bit ....
I didn't realise so many people had the same taste as me ..... or should that read - the same age as me

I can't remember the first concert I went to, but I've seen some class acts. Don McClean at the Grosvenor Hall way back. He played for three hours. Brilliant! Huey Lewis and the News at the Kings Hall and the Bee Gees in Miami Awesome! Those are just three of the standouts I remember with affection.

Rooster- remember Bell guesting that evening as well still think that Lizzy were at their peak with Robinson & Gorham however. Think it was Snowy White & Gorham that night you refer to but they came close again with Sykes & Gorham but not quite.
Also seen them in the Whitla Hall with Sweet Savage supporting (a band that could take some small credit in the emergence of Metallica)
Gary Moore brought something different to the table but didn't last the pace though did later see Lynott guest with him in the Ulster Hall. Lynott was underrated but IMHO the complete showman. Love Moore's blues and wish he would return for a small club type gig to Belfast.
Most of us must have bumped into each other in our previous life.
