Sexton refused the position, Kempson not shortlisted ? Over that. A South sea Islander ex No.8 in the Guiness Premiership wasn't short listed but Anderson is being talked about.

Justy? interesting suggestion.

Plenty of experience.

A proven leader, by example, from the front.

Only problem seems to be his lack of discipline, maybe the additional responsibility would change that. Have to say however, that most times he does lose it, he is defending other Ulster players.

Prepared to admit that there were problems with the performance of the team and individual players - no excuses made.

Seems to have the respect of the other players or maybe they are all afraid of him!

And of course, if any of them step out of line he could always threaten them with his Mum
