Connacht robbed by Rob Dickson the referee, reverses a 22 drop out for time wasting, and gives Ospreys a penalty right in front of the posts. Connacht should have won, The common taters can't believe it, neither can I

Ospreys 18 Connacht 17

cheating refs!

Rob Dickson.............................the first four letters of his surname describe him perfectly.
Connacht deserved something out of that game and to have it taken away in such a manner is a disgrace.

It really was sickening, even the welsh commentators were in disbelief which shows just how poor the decision was.

Delay at a lineout, free kick
Delay at a scrum, free kick

Delay at a 22 drop out, infront of Rob Dickson, while 2 points in the lead in the 81st minute after playing out of your skin, PENALTY IN FRONT OF THE POSTS.

Its about time something was done about the state of the refereeing in this league, no wonder they can't get a sponsor, the refs decide what way a game goes more than the teams who are playing. What i saw today really sickened me, Ospreys didn't deserve anything from that match.

shameful, you really feel for Connacht after that

anyone else see the deliberate knock-down, very similar to Humph's last week, which didn't apparently merit a binning this time?

sounds like the westerners really deserved to win this one. How much longer can the CL tolerate this standard of refereeing? From reading other posts it would appear that this ref doesn't know the correct application of penalties and it has changed the result of a match on more than one occasion. Not good enough for a professional game.

Yep Paul, from what I have read here it looks like Mr Dickinson is out in a league of his own. He seems to have continued where he left off last year. And they want Scottish and Irish refs for the Powergen. Can you imagine Rolland reffing Newcastle. Rob Andrew would have a heart attack. He obviously has not seen much these boys in action, they just have no idea how bad some of these folk are.
