Caught the new Harp ad when I was back ... when the camel made it's appearance I had a right chuckle remembering the 'pint of harp & packet of dates, Lawrence' ad from the early 80's - classic !
Anyone else any other favourite ads out there ?

I suppose most of you folks have already seen this one - but last night I saw the dairy Milk ad with the drumming gorilla.
Pure genius that and brought a big grin to all who watched it a chez nous.

the Peugeot ad with the 4 home nations rugby supporters, ignoring the aussie hitchhiker slowing rown, and driving off "See ya Skippy!"

Genesis [Phil Collins' leadership] perform an instumental entitled
Wot Gorilla on
Wind and Wuthering any connection do you think?
My favourite ad, Fry's turkish delight circa 1965. The Flake ad was good too.

All time favourite is Gregor Fisher trying to get his picture taken in the photo booth and the seat keeps dropping. "Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet." Of the current crop the coke add where the guy pretends his coke is a mobile is a good un.

Having said that I watched some of last nights fiasco on TV3 and the new O2 add has Willie John in his old Ireland strip passing to Kieran Fitzgerald, passing to Michael Kiernan passing to Woody who passed to BOD. Perhaps they should have played last night. Probably would have done a lot better.

Are you sure it wasn't Mr Fancy Footwork - Simon Geoghegan ?
