Meeting Place in Paris

Post by barney »

Will be in Paris for the France and Argentina games.

Anyone else going to be over there? Any suggestions for watering holes pre- and post-match?

Anyone up for meeting for a pint?

I wish

Are you making 2 trips to the games or staying inbetween?
Are you thinking of spots near the ground or will anywhere do?

We're heading down to Nice in between the two games.

There's a group of us heading over but none of us have been in Paris for a while so suggestions welcome :D

The Auld Alliance .. close to the St Paul metro is worth a pint.
The Bombardier .. close to the Pantheon
Guinness Tavern ..close to Boulevard Sebastopol. (A bit expensive)
Kitty O'Sheas .. close to L'Opera and Madeleine metroes
O'Sullivans ... close to Grands Boulevards metro

Pas de problème as they say. Here's a link to Parisian pubs ..........

You can list them A-Z, very useful.

Self & Lanzawoman heading to gay pareee, where I will have to make up for booking us on the cheapest (I use the term very loosely!) flights .... late flight from here to Madrid, with a few hours waiting until we board the 05.45 to Beaver Airport, then an hour & half bus ride into town....

Hope Kitty O'Shea's opens for breakfast !

Tried quite a few of the Irish bars at the weekend (only good Irish thing about the whole weekend!) & tend to favour McBrides. It was great craic on Fri before the game & also for the games on TV again on Sat.

Im sure i can be found there again this weekend if anyone else is about
