The UAFC

Anyone into using those headphone / mic combo headsets?

I got one the other day and it seems fine as far as the phones bit goes (music etc is very clear) but when testing the mic, all I seem to get is rather a lot of buzzing static type echoy feed back.

Any ideas as to what causes that? Do I need to mess about with sound mixer settings etc?

Mic is picking up static feedback from your speakers probably, try turning them off if they work at same time as headphones
