If that's true then it's not good to hear. Fair enough if Matt Williams was suggesting selections from afar but nobody else should be.

Amazing how many excuses can be produced for playing like balloons!! Do we have a rugby team or a bunch of prima donnas with over inflated egos?

I don't believe it for one minute!Red Hand Hero wrote:Heard first hand that some of the players feel Williams isn't picking the team himself and is being dictated to by Reid and others. Teams being named on thursdays instead of tuesdays are leaving players in the dark and not sure who is starting until 1/2 days before a game. And we wonder why they've been playing so atrociously!
and who are "others"?
Re: Steve Williams not picking the team...
That would seem to imply that your belief is that the coach has total responsibility for team selection and that he does not have to take on board the view of the PTMC. Do I read you correctly Grumps?I don't believe it for one minute!

Cables,
If you read me that way, that would seem (to me) to imply that you have a different understanding of the phrase "being dictated to".

Re: Steve Williams not picking the team...
Did Matt Williams not use last 2 games to look at players, thought that was reason for strange selections
