I love these mad contrived cycling events. Great entertainment!

They should have a 100m running backwards in the Athletics and possibly 100m hopping.

No more daft than some of the stuff. Take butterfly swimming - incredibly tiring, slower than the front crawl and you never see anybody doing it in real life. What's the point?

There is nothing quite like the 3,000 metres steeplechase. Running round in circles, jumping over things and splashing through a very big puddle.

That cycling Omnium thing is also good entertainment. The weemens one and the men's Madison is on the last day. Pity it's about 4am.

Might do. It's the Keirin not the Madison btw. That's the wan with the wee man on the moped :lol:. Aparently the Japs love it because they invented it so ir's been held back for the finale.
