Mince pies are a bit of a generational thing now. Nobody under 50 seems to like them. I think Standup may be a bit of an outlier here!

I bloody love 'em ... and Xmas puds ... and mulled wine. (Grumpy will probablybe annoyed because I went off topic here. Just for balance, I absolutely hate that cinnamon/gingerbread central european shyte and that seems to fill the shelves these days. I blame the Xmas market.

Isn't even halloween yet but I can't fail to notice the shops are displaying christmas stuff and the christmas ads are starting to appear on the tele. There should be a law banning this crap before December.

Fully agree, except for mince pies, which should be on sale from the Twelfth onwards.

I thought you should be able to get fruit all year round now, wot with transport from hotter climes an' all that, but I haven't been able to source a decent peach or nectarine for several weeks now.
