There’s a pill for that. Supposedly.

I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Haha thankfully that’s one ailment I’ve managed to swerve - so far although I’m not getting any younger, so that might be laying in wait for me

This week is mens health week
A little reminder to those over 45 --if you haven't had a PSA and a DRE --- get one and if your last was 3 years ago have another.
Better safe than sorry
Me I live on with my hot flushes etc but ---- I'm still living

Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

The constant use of the word "learnings" in rugby interviews is irritating. The word "learning" covers both singular and plural uses. There is no need to add an "s"... It did seem to start in Ireland but has now spread like COVID. Bundee Aki is using it today.. Often coupled with "going forward" which is a tautologous pointless and over-used phrase.

That one annoys me too. I've heard Cooney using it and many others.for dog and ulcer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:16 pm The constant use of the word "learnings" in rugby interviews is irritating. These days Irish rugby players also have to start every sentence with "Look ..." which I think is the southern hemisphere equivalent of "So ..."
I also hope UR management bans any use of the word "silverware" this season since it is invariably employed just before we exit the knockout stage of a competition.

They learned 'Look' from Muller.
He was a master of dealing with Qs and I have no problem with them picking up on that.
Lessons became learnings in the US. I hear the term in business too (and enjoy correcting it).
Look - Going forward is annoying, but it is one of those stock phrases that they use to imply they will build on the learnings from the shïtty performance that some hack is asking them a stupid question about.

no greater master of the "look.........." introduction to every sentence than our own Rory B.
In fact, I think he may have started it?

BR is right. He copied it from Muller but he has to be given the dubious honour of popularising it.
We should sue for damages ... ballix too late ...

“Look” has been popular in cricket for years.
Appears to be part of lesson number 1 on how to deal with the Press.

Seemed to be very natural for Ruan and P3 too. I suspect normal expression in SA.
