That's the last book I read. There were bits of it i found hard to follow because of the way it's translated but other than that it's quite an enjoyable book. Quite like the concept of it too. After it i've moved onto American Gods by Neil Gaiman which I'm absolutely loving.Neil F wrote:"The Master and the Margarita" - Mikhail Bulgakov

i'm reading v for vendetta at the minute, and very good it is too. I'm also reading an economics book to brush up on my macro theory [actually also for enjoyment if i'm being honest ]

Re: What are you reading?
Honestly? If so, that is a frightening admission - as some one who has put his OU books away for the summer I am enjoying reading nothing more intellectually challenging than bogstandard fiction that will find no palce on the Richard & Judy top Book list. Recently read:i'm reading v for vendetta at the minute, and very good it is too. I'm also reading an economics book to brush up on my macro theory [actually also for enjoyment if i'm being honest ]
TImebomb - Gerald Seymour. Just OK
A Prisoner of Birth - Jeffery Archer. Excellent, easy to read escapism.
Sail - by an author whose name is as forgettable as the book.
The exception was:
A Million Bullets - James Ferguson. An account of Afghanistan in 2006. Interesting enough although most of the subject matter has been covered before.

This is a fabulous book, a very poignant read, I highly recommend it too.Glynncommando wrote:Thought i'd start a similar thread to the "..listening to" one.

Having read my way through four Chris Ryan's in a weeks holiday, I am currently reading PJ Tracy's 'Want to Play?', a mix of a thriller / detective novel. Haven't been able to put it down
