Home Heating Oil - post prices here
Well we now have unleaded and diesel price subjects so lets push the boat out and see what everyone is paying for home heating oil - especially as i'll be doing an order within next month or so.
i suggest name of company, price per litre, quantity ordered , and amount of discount (if any) if paid pronto.

Re: Home Heating Oil - post prices here
The price of home heating oil has fallen by 12% in less than a month, the Belfast Telegraph can reveal today.
The good news comes after the global price of oil went crashing to below $100 a barrel last week for the first time since April, and it offers an indication that hard-pressed households in Northern Ireland may receive some respite from rising bills as winter approaches.
It also represents a glimmer of light at the end of a dark tunnel as hikes in the cost of gas and electricity look likely to burden families from the start of October.
A snap survey of oil distributors carried out by the Belfast Telegraph on Friday found the cost of filling a tank of home heating oil has dropped by nearly £60 in just 21 days. Among the cheapest online suppliers was Boilerjuice, for example, where customers were being charged £457.85 for 900 litres and £254.36 for 500 litres.
That represents a drop in price of £52.36 (for 900 ltrs) and £30.40 (500 ltrs) between August 28 and September 18, according to a leading comparison website.

Anyone needing a refill might be as well to do so today as crude has risen over $20 /barrel this morning.

Crude oil for October delivery ceased trading yesterday and the price shot up in last evenings trading as presumably buyers and investors had been holding off on the falling market and all had to jump in at once yesterday.Rooster wrote:Anyone needing a refill might be as well to do so today as crude has risen over $20 /barrel this morning.
Oil for November delivery only rose $6 which is a pretty normal days fluctuation at the minute, and has already fallen $1.50 this morning.
Not all doom and gloom, but at $90 the market was oversold, $100-$110 is probably a more realistic settling price.

Stuck the measuring stick in tank last night and reckon i cud have another 3-4 weeks supply still left.
So updates on prices still welcome. Do those in the know think it'll keep going down for a bit yet?
