they way it works is they will send the people who signed up an activation code over the next few weeks, a few mates of mine signed up multiple times ill ask them to give me a spare code for you.

Cheers for that link Ithryn - just got my license key e-mail from them & now have Zone Alarm installed .... not that I have much of a scooby-doo what it's for, but sounds good! :salut:

essentially its one of, if not the best fire wall out there. Simmply because of one awesome ability. It monitors everything thats going through your modem, checks it against allowed programs, and if it spots something dodgy it simply cuts your internet and flags it up for you. Making it very hard for someone to hack into you, or for spyware etc to send information out, like your passwords etc.

Make sure anyone that installs it that you turn off your Windows firewall or a combination of the 2 will block all sorts of programmes that are ok.
I used to have Zone Alarm but personally found it was a nightmare to use and gave a lot of bother on my setup, perhaps the newer versions are better.
