Looks like the supermarkets have decided to stop using fuel as a loss-leader as Asda in Newtownards isn't very cheap anymore either.

Tell you what shocked me on Sat. £3.05 for an Americano in Connswater. CONNSWATER FFS!

Phoenix/Centra in Ballymena 180.9 yesterday and the petrol station ( think Texaco) at bottom of Glenshane Pass 178.9.

BP in Lambeg has queues to get in. Petrol is £1.79.9.

Was there earlier. Cheapest in the area. It was 171p a few days ago.

Definitely not following the price reductions by others, it’s Sainsburys (H’wood) at 188.9 and Tesco ( K’nagoney) at 189.9

For the record, and Lest We Forget, The Phoenix/Centra is a Maxol petrol station and is at 14 Antrim Road, Ballymena. It has a good food selection inc freshly made ready meals ( yum yum) and is also handy for the Winemark store beside it at 12 Antrim Road. But do not drink and drive.
