Plus, somebody on the terrace was holding up a big banner that read: "White Knight, Please Come Back!"
Couldn't refuse...

Re: Uncle Jimmy!
as a member of frursc i give special dispensation that the royal flag of fiji may be flown at will by our members and we will to quote our tyrone colleague "turn a blind eye" to the butchers apron in the corner
but in the spirit of co operation and bridge building if some members really cant bring themselves to wave the babys bib there is an alternative which may be found here http://flagspot.net/images/f/fj_gg.gif

or you trying to be all multi-cultural an'that? noticed you were backing the plight of the poles recently...
may i suggest that:
- western pakistan had an earthquake yesterday - your waving of an appropriate fleg might go some way towards ease their plight
- farmers all over australia are suffering because of a decade long drought, to the extent that PC liberals have suggesting not using the word "drought", and replacing it with "dry spell". waving the aussie flag also might make MW 'all stoked and ripper chuffed, ya flamin dingo!'
- ROI officially in recession. a tricolour (with an appropriate Ulster Rugby supporters club emblazoned) could go a long way to showing our support for our southerly neighbours.
in fact you could go so far as renaming the second barrier 'atlas'
