Have heard a rumor that Paul Marshall wasn't getting a new deal, though if UR don't get another Scrum Half signed to replace boss this may change to provide cover.

I hope it is Kockott, he look a very useful player.

A good quick scrum half, an excellent goal kicker plus he looks like he could be iHump's protector in the heat of the battle.

Anyone know what his kicking stats are? Although given our experience with old Shifty - kicking stats aren't all they are made out to be :?

What about new CEO is taking charge of a task force to protect The Falklands from a possible attack by the Argies over disputed oilfields ?

I hope you aren't on the wind up.

The sooner the scrumhalf situation is sorted out the better.

Same for Danielli, the sooner we tie him down the better, it would be excellent if the SRU put some cash in for an international contract as was rumoured a few weeks ago.

We’ve been lead to believe that a certain Supersport commentator, himself a former Ulster representative, may have been doing a spot of moonlighting in Durban on behalf of the Dublin team.

Anybody know who this representative is??

Just home from Larne Sports awards and the guest at the event was none other than David Humphreys. I've never met the man before but he was an absolute gentleman and I got to talk to him for a good 10mins.

Anyway, I asked him about the whole scrum half situation and he said he basically couldn't say anything (obviously) but that I shouldn't be worried one bit as it's even surprised Mr Humphreys at the caliber of scrum halves offering their services to Ulster. He was very very keen to stress that Ulster have a lot of options of possible signings for next season and that I shouldn't worry.

The way he was talking we clearly have our targets worked out and just a matter of time before any announcement. It was great having a yarn with a legend like David Humphreys. I kept asking him about some of the players being rumoured like Januarie and Knockett but nothing.

So to sum it all up we're not to be worried, a quality 9 will be signed!!

Between John Baptiste Ellisalde, Byron Kelleher and Fourie Du Preez it is then.
