STAND UP competition

Post by URSC Newsletter Ed »

Reminder for URSC members :

Entries for the latest STAND UP competition close this Friday (20th August)

For your chance to win a new Ulster shirt, courtesy of IN SPORT, Newtownards, just answer the following question:

Which former All Black signed for Ulster, but wasn’t in a Rush to come here?

Send your answer by email to: ursc_newsletter@hotmail.co.uk or by post to: URSC Competition, C/O Ulster Rugby, Ravenhill Grounds, 85 Ravenhill Park, Belfast BT6 0DG, but remember, particularly if using snail mail, it must arrive by Friday.

Prize winner will be required to collect their prize from IN SPORT in Newtownards, and you MUST be a member of URSC to enter.

(If not already a member, why not include an membership form and a cheque with your entry and send to Ravers?)

Who said there was (or wasn't) a "Rush"?

As some people around here seem to like facts, this was just a statement of one

Perhaps you could print this out. It may do the job for you.

Left click on the image and you will see the whole form displayed.

Good luck.

Too late now as time limit was midnight last night perhaps you could blame a ewe

Suffice to say that if you don't know, it wasn't you.

Over 70 correct entries were received for this competition (and a few incorrect ones).

The draw was made by Simon Danielli last Thursday night prior to the Leeds match, and the result announced over the PA system at half-time, with due acknowledgement to the competition sponsors In Sport. Also announced were the winners of other URSC prize draws made on the night, so thank-you to Ulster Rugby for that - yet another sign of the greatly improved co-operation between UR and URSC in recent months.

The winner, as already announced, was a Mr McStea who was at the match, and a photo should appear in the next issue of Stand Up.
