A lot of talk on the other thread on who will captain us when Muller is eventually forced out so decided to create a poll, thought it would be interesting.

Probably Best as he is when Muller missing and he playing, then Henry is next in line when Best missing but if Henry becomes an Ireland regular then they will probably pick someone else.

Hard to say tbh, neither Best nor Chad seem to be the most 'gobby' but both are leaders. If Pienaar stays on longer it could well be him, he's notorious for chatting to the ref!

I was told Paddy Jackson has consistently captained teams through schools, underage grade etc, can anyone else shed any light on this?

Well if Muller is somehow allowed a one year contract, he will be staying here to the end of the 2013/14 season, correct me if i'm wrong but by that time PJ wont be any older than 23 so can't really see him captain a team when there are plenty of more senior players available.

Will Carling captained England at 22, Sam Warburton captained Wales at 22, age is irrelevant maturity is, if he continues to progress at his current rate why not?

I remember a young David Pollock taking an Ulster team to Stade Francais a few years back and we put in a shift.

Where is the Paul Marshall option?
In fairness to Paul Marshall, he has the communication skills and when he becomes the stalwart that I think he will be. He’s the man. The responsibility would help him and sit well with him.
