Re: Injury Update
Oh to see an Olding-Henshaw midfield. Tasty.
But it'll be D'Arcy-Henshaw no doubt...

Nice sensible post backed up with stats.rumncoke wrote:I would suggest you look at Sundays stats a third of the line out secured , most yards gained and the best pass stats in the back row . Provided you don't go to Diack as a first receiver he is a good carrier of the ball from an off load .

Re: Injury Update
I 've wanted to see Dick start at 8 for us. I reckon he's a better 8 than 6 (didnt he play 8 at Stormers?) He's more pace and a better handler than both RW and NW. Which is then where a good 6 comes in..

He played 8 for us a lot too when he first arrivedCIMANFOREVER wrote:I 've wanted to see Dick start at 8 for us. I reckon he's a better 8 than 6 (didnt he play 8 at Stormers?) He's more pace and a better handler than both RW and NW. Which is then where a good 6 comes in..
He is an 8 in the Heaslip mould
Re: Injury Update
I'd say he's an 8 in the Michael Owen mould - good ball player but poor carrier so needs big ball carriers around him.Russ wrote:He is an 8 in the Heaslip mould

Re: Injury Update
Diack is an utterly useless ball carrier. Like Heaslipstu wrote:I'd say he's an 8 in the Michael Owen mould - good ball player but poor carrier so needs big ball carriers around him.Russ wrote:He is an 8 in the Heaslip mould

Re: Injury Update
Comparing Diack and Heaslip as similar standard carriers is an insult to Heaslip. Now there is a sentence I never thought I'd type.Russ wrote:Diack is an utterly useless ball carrier. Jamie regularly posts positive yardage stats
Re: Injury Update
Diack needs to be used in midfield more. He is big, athletic and has good hands. Running into the opposition pack is where he looks weak. It's all about generating the mismatch. Forward v back. Winger v prop etc.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Great, another midfield player to displace Cave
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Shame when he is used there he fails to touch the ball down over the lineSnipe Watson wrote:that's how I see him being used too Dave.Dave wrote:Diack needs to be used in midfield more.
