Very much so.

Why would there be a cut off date?

Is there a restriction on how many nights Ulster rugby can have a crowd over a certain size per year? To appease / deal with residents, policing, traffic congestion etc...
Seems A matches are no longer part of season ticket !
Why buy a season ticket?

Hassle free, one-off booking
Guaranteed entry to all Ulster Rugby home fixtures
Savings in comparison to match by match purchases
Priority purchase for additional tickets for all home fixtures including play-offs and finals
Priority purchase on European away fixtures including finals
Exclusive access to international tickets (subject to availability)
Access to exclusive season ticket holder competitions
Option to re-sell your ticket if you can't make it to a fixture via Ticket Exchange
Exclusive first access to 2017/18 season tickets
Exclusive first access to other events held at Kingspan Stadium
Exclusive first access to annual Family Open Day with exclusive season ticket holder offers

Used to be you just turned up with your season ticket and got in
They clearly don't want to maximise the level of support or facilitate season ticket holders. If idiots were scarce.......

Got the email but hadn't spotted this. Assumed (reasonable enough given precedents) one could print off a ticket on the day.

Another spectacular own goal after the BT9 only Xmas draw (Yeah, yeah, I know it was BT "anything" if you were prepared to sit in t'house 24-7 'till Trimbie and Sparky rolled up in a Bavarian vehicle with your complimentary tickets entitling you to shoot an endangered species at Bellevue). :red:

Is Bellevue far from Carrick ?

Yeah I've got my email, sadly I won't be availing of the ticket, will be wooing Mrs Trousers on her big birthday in Paris that night.

More importantly, she'll be getting a rather nice cheque that day, ain't pensions grand. Mrs T was also a usurer in her past. :thumleft:

How'd you get that? I only saw an option for one ticket. Ah well,I've taken it anyway, in the Grandstand. It'll be interesting to see how the other half lives at least for one match.

You can almost hear the ticketing staff wrestling themselves in their own minds over this:

What if we open Ravers and no-one shows? I suppose we should stick some publicity on facebook.

Lets give free tickets to season ticket holders like the olden days.

Steady on, what only freebies turn up, it might as well be empty.

Well have some tickets free but then make everyone else who doesn't know if they could be arsed a month in advance and during the xmas rush pay more than one would expect to pay to watch the As.

So a few people for free and not very many paying then?

I wish we'd just had it at Deramore again .

Unlike the senior team, Ulster A seem to be playing well and have a good chance of making the QFs:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%8 ... _Irish_Cup

The Not Nots 19
Eailing Trailfinders 16
Scarlets PS XV 15
Ulster A 14
Munster A 14

Jersey Reds 13
Yorkshire Carnegie 11
Cornish Pirates 10
Leinster A 10

A couple of wins in the last 2 games should see them with a home QF, good chance of being one of the best runners up if they come 2nd in the group. Same set up as the SDC, 4 best pool winners get home QF, worst winner + best 3 runners up on the road.
