Re: Mexico 17/18
Sky commentator has just said that Leinster's senior squad has 35 out of 45 who have come through their own schools, academy system. Has anyone any idea how many of our squad are home grown? How many of our 'first fifteen'?
Re: Mexico 17/18
Agree. Leinster did not really need another wing. Hope he does not block the progress of Daly/Byrne/Larmour/O'Loughlin etc...Russ wrote:Lowe proving he's a liability without the ball. Made reference to this during Lions tour

It's 36 who have come through underage structures or academy. Nine who didn't are Nacewa, Gibson-Park, Fardy, Lowe, Strauss, Bent, Henshaw, Nagle and Cronin.solidarity wrote:Sky commentator has just said that Leinster's senior squad has 35 out of 45 who have come through their own schools, academy system. Mourad Boudjellal agreed to deliver his opinion on the investigation opened around a homophobic insult formulated by Mathieu Bastareaud, this Sunday, during the match of European Cup against Treviso. The Var president defends his player but fears a heavy penalty.
Rugbyrama: What is your first reaction after the disclosure of the video revealing the homophobic insult of your player, Mathieu Bastareaud?

The EPCR, known for its severity, may not share your clemency. How do you envisage following the investigation?
MB: I'm worried. What I'm afraid of is the Mormon side of the EPCR with the Welsh and the Irish. They are people who sell morality when they do not have it. The same who have ministers who are whipped in the private but who pass for guys "cleans" in public.
Are you surprised by Mathieu Bastareaud's attitude on the spot?
MB: Sincerely, I do not have the beginning of the beginning of a suspicion towards Mathieu. If there is someone who is open and tolerant, it is him.
