I think that problem has been recognised and will probably not have influence this time around.

If that is the case Rooster then what purpose do they serve? Time to get rid of the board and restructure. I believe their hearts are in the right place but do any other clubs outside of Ireland or indeed in Ireland still have a non paid board making decisions at a professional level.
I actually think an unpaid board do have a role not in so much picking men for the jobs but keeping an eye on them and holding them to account, let the IRFU hierarchy sort the major staff end out but use the board to police what those top men then do, it has worked over the years in other similar type business.

Very simple, let professionals run the pro game ie Ulster, let the ex presidents and jobs for boys look after what they are AMATEURS.

It really is that simple, isn't it? Do you mean from D4 or BT6?

Well , in Dublin when the game went PRO the best amateurs who say on committees went straight to full time roles with wages set by themselves, they now need to be honest with themselves and change.

Belfast , you still have some who treat the whole thing as a private members club, just go to a branch AGM, what a coçk rubbing session that is. If those that have the game in their hands really want rugby to be successful they will give up their empire, but why would they, free weekends in France, wives lording over others who up until hubby became a President or Comittee member has zero interest in the game.

It will never happen until most of them die, unfortunately they are preparing now their students of greed and blazer chasing.

It doesn't need to be advertised broadly if an agency is tasked to fill the vacancy.

You might need to update the CV. What did you do after the UN gig?

Things went spectacularly well for me. Manager At Hyundai Heavy Industry – Ulsan, South Korea. Then opened up a Coca Cola plant in North Korea, annual turnover of 500m per year.

Sure we won't see the job description until they've got their man and make it tailored to his/her's experience? Isn't that the Ulster Way? I think i recall a similar discussion the time Snakey Logan was hired.

Six swift strokes of Ermintrude in front of the fans if you don’t perform and free beer for everybody if we win. With that kind of leadership We just might bring home some silverware . :fleg:
