Hoping this will be another classic. Probably that's the scud on it. Nil nil and pens it is then.

I'm thinking classic.
Tournament deserves it.
Pretty much the final it deserved from the top 2 sides.
Quality everywhere on view and fancy the Belgians to sneak it.
And I want them to.

Can you remember 1958?

Well, well, well...

France fully deserved that. They were terrific.

France so comfortable.
De Bruyne was awful which didn't help.
Definitely not the anticipated classic.

As for England they should expect to get past Croatia.
None of this we are inexperienced nonsense washes.
They are for the most part highly paid internationals playing for the top clubs in a top league.
They have to understand that they NEVER will have a better chance of getting into a final.

People hark about the Italia 90 semi but England only scraped past Cameroon, Belgium and Egypt to get there.
Big difference was the Germans stood in their way to the final.

This lot have had similar ease but have a Croatan team at the same stage, with only a few who would get on the England team.
If Henderson sits on Modric then that will be that.
Fully expect England to win and they should be bitterly disappointed if they don't.

Naturally, I didn't watch it but my pal Al was telling me last night that he hoped for a Belgian win, says France has been negative and dreadful to watch.

Sadly I will see the Lionels tomorrow, hope they are stuffed, no great harm to team or Southgate, it's just we all know where it will end. :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh:

Some bint on the BBC news wittering on about "fan zones" across the UK. No, not the UK, f*cking ENGLAND. I'll be in a fan zone in Donegal watching on OrTE the marra night. I couldn't give a flying f*ck how nice boring 'arry Kane (he doesn't drink and plays golf ffs! ) and "the lads" are. I hope they get right royally stuffed.

Match last night not as good as hoped for. They rarely are I guess. Still we saw some class play and France proved that bit better on the night as I expected.

Croatia have been written off everywhere you look. Apparently they will be too tired having played two consecutive games that went into extra time. I think Croatia are the more battle hardened side. They have a quality midfield. Rakatic and Modric are so good on the ball. Better than anything England have faced thus far. Perisic and Rebic have been a real handful in wider channels. They will both test England's wingback system. Croatia are missing a top class striker to make them a genuine contender.

I'm stuck in Lionel country for this one. Although there seem to be plenty of GAWAs supporting England at home. C'mon Croatia.

I will be supporting England, simply because I backed them at 16/1 at the start.
