Last night's game is shown in full on Tues @ 4pm. They also show a highlights show at various times thru the week.
Are they making it worse so that you will subscribe to their HD channels?
I'm obviously used to watching on BBC in SD, so it seems more than just the difference between SD and HD.

He can get one. We don't pay him all this good money for nothing.Cap'n Grumpy wrote:But, but, but .... he doesn't have an HDMI socket on his digi recorder, Shirley?Dave wrote:Use the premier player off of your PC and record via hdmi output onto digi recorder.

I think you got a few words jumbled there.
Can't expect a culchie from way down there to have and use HDMI ... Lucky he's not still on 13 pin DIN!
Anyway - can buy a HDMI-VGA converter for a few quid.

Re: Video Replays 2017/2018
Tis slightly more complex than that, the HDMI output also sends the data to prevent recording so you actually need component or SCART output from the Sky box which my old box had.Cap'n Grumpy wrote:FixedDave wrote:He can get one. Anyway think I may have found a free screen recorder which I can record the replays on demand from, will check it out over the next week and get something sorted out hopefully

My experience is that the app starts on medium resolution, I have to physically change to high resolution.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Any video of the Tigers game? The Föhn and rain made me miss our first two tries!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
