Tis a wonder Irish Rail didn't try to throw the poor fecker off the train for not having a ticket.Commuters got a bit of a surprise this morning, when a dog was seen travelling solo on the train from Sallins, Co Kildare to Heuston Station in Dublin.
The dog, who has been given the temporary name of Hamish, was found on the 8.46am Sallins-Heuston train.
Some commuters tweeted that they had seen the dog on the platform in Sallins, so it is believed that is where 'Hamish' first boarded the train.

Whilst not exactly taking happiness from the death of anyone, neither do I mourn the death of a poacher in South Africa who was trampled by an elephant and then eaten by lions.

I wouldn't go that far ... without more information which is unlikely to be forthcoming.big mervyn wrote:Sounds like a classic win win. It's easy for us in an affluent part of the world to be disapproving (and I do disapprove), but we don't know why he was doing it. I know why poachers in general do what they do, and it's for considerable profit, but it may be that this unfortunate was simply a hired hand trying to eke out a miserable living for his family the only way he could and taking the risks for a pittance, while others make the real money.

Indeed and I'm still hoping Barca can win the final. However it was great to see Spurs knock out Man City.Dave wrote:
Champions League overall is much more enjoyable this year as none of the w-nky teams like Royal Madrid and ManUre managed to do anything.
Ajax very impressive. Pity all the rich clubs will dismantle it in the summer.

FFS, Shan, you need to be saving all your excitement and energy for shouting at the TV on Saturday! Best of luck to your boys against that crowd of god-botherers!
