I see Bank of Ireland are using Ulster Rugbys players to showcase their bank and all the good they are doing for age grade rugby
This, same Bank of Ireland, that ruined the careers of Patrick Jackson and Stuart Olding
Bring them home

Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

So the player's actions had nothing to do with the situation?

How about bringing your employer's name into serious disrepute.Russ wrote:And what actions might they be?John_e_boy wrote:I'll bite:Russ wrote:I see Bank of Ireland are using Ulster Rugbys players to showcase their bank and all the good they are doing for age grade rugby

Of course their actions initiated the situation. However the disproportionate reaction of the IRFU, driven by the undue strong arm tactics employed by BOI exacerbated the situation.

Slogan must have similar views to Folau. He had a moral objection to fornication and drunkenness.Russ wrote:Nah fam. Logan felt bad innitDave wrote:Specifically what actions though?

Obviously we'll agree to disagree on the situation. Given the recent Folau and Vunipola cases, it's obvious employers have certain limits when it comes to the off-field actions of their employees. Especially so when said employees are in the public eye.
I understand the IRFU's actions, as I do those of Rugby Australia and the RFU. It's the flipside of the social media age.

Vunipola said women exist to have sex with men
Lawes comments seem to have been ignored
A Tongan this morning has said similar to Folau
Paddy and Stuart specifically did what John E?

Russ,
I've answered that question already. You may choose to believe their actions didn't bring the IRFU and Ulster Rugby into serious disrepute - and that is your choice of course - but I think their position was untenable conviction or no conviction.
