Maybe coming in readiness of the departure of Sam Carter.
A youthful engine room with Hendy being the old man at this rate.

Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Sadly, Carter is here for a another year. As suggested elsewhere probably Mick Kearney out the door.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Pity for Kearney hasn’t let us down once, very good at the start of the season.

Frank Bradshaw Ryan, currently at Nevers in Pro D2. He had been mentioned by Bernard Jackman in a podcast recently etc.
"It is believed that Dan McFarland has identified the 2.05m and 119kg second-row as someone who can bolster his Ulster pack's options next season."
Would join Alan O’Connor (2023), Kieran Treadwell (2023), Sam Carter (2023), Iain Henderson (2023), Cormac Izuchukwu (2023) as lock options next season.

Does anyone think Carter is worth keeping, to me he is a total waste of an NIQ spot

Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Nope shown nothing, if your not one of the first names on the starting 15 as an NIQ it’s time to go!

All our second-row contracts end 2023? Surely that is madness?

Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
FBR has a highlights reel on YouTube.
He’s not unathletic, even fairly nimble at times. Hands seem decent enough and he loves a charge down.
Worryingly, there’s only three minutes of it though!

Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Youtube highlights reel are rarely a good guide, I will wait til he actually plays next season! He is only on a 1 year deal, worth a punt etc.
Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Any chance of Carter getting acutely homesick?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
One exception would be Stuart Beavon’s highlights reel from his 2011/12 campaign at Wycombe Wanderers.
25 goals yet they all went in off his shin, knee or Brennan.
I was unsurprised when he subsequently failed to set Deepdale alight.
Re: Frank Bradshaw Ryan
Welcome Frank. The opportunity to be an Ulster hero beckons. Grasp the chance with both hands and show everyone what you’re made of.
