Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
2 players in the 23. Whole Ulster organisation is rotten. From the Academy upwards. We lack any values.
I was following 2 young players on social media last week. One was going full tilt in the gym. The other was looking for his hoĺe in Thailand.
Guess which player was from Ulster.
Shows you the values.

Yeah that's what I thought, it was the commentator who was mixing them up

This Irish side is very resilient and so skillful.

Prendergast kicking off the tea a lot to be desired. Left the win out there but will be happy in the end to get the draw considering the red card.
Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
Only highlights but he looked very rushed off the tee and the kicks were getable.jean valjean wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 2:26 pm Prendergast kicking off the tea a lot to be desired. Left the win out there but will be happy in the end to get the draw considering the red card.
The Lionels were the ones trying to play the rugby but that posh looking ginger one who kept getting muddy was a bit irritating.
France looked class. The rangy centre, Depoortere, has scored a couple of tries for Bordeaux in the Top 14 this season.

Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
The U 20s win against Australia showed the value of high quality coaching. Ireland's cohesion was superb and they played the Aussies off the park in the second half.
Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
Bonus point win for Ireland 20s v Australia in a very soggy Cape down in South Africa, Galwayesque. 30-10.
Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
Rory Telfer's yellow card upgraded in the TMO bunker to a red and will likely miss 3 games (2 if he goes to tackle school).
That Paarl pitch was like one from the Rugby Special era.

Stupid decision to hold multiple games in the same stadium in the SA winter. Not as if these lads are much lighter than senior pros.

Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023
Super game of two halves. In the forst half I thought they were only ok, but getting the rub of the green and being on the right side of the ref, but the second half was a different story. Took the Aussies to the cleaners.
