“That made me feel very special and underlined to me that Ulster is more than a team, it is a community and a rugby family"

I'd just like to mention the behaviour of Justin Harrison for a minute. Game over. Suitably vexed after another shambolic display against Edinburgh 2nd xv (What would've happened had they sent over their firsts?!!), I was heading to the beer tent. I look onto the pitch to see only one poor soul still. Surrounded by kids. The home grown players had long left for the privacy of the changing room. Yet here was a true, honorary Ulsterman there till the death. Shaking every hand, patting every back. He left the field a good 10 mins after every other player, having given his boots and his socks to the young kids who had swarmed around him. Fair play big Justin. You may not, for various off the field reasons, have hit the heights of last season. But you showed though your actions tonight that you are a true gent. Fair play.
An Ulster player still on the field was the youngster McKenzie (14) cos he signed my kid's arm and that was after Justin had done the same and left. Not sure if any other players were stil about.bells123 wrote:The home grown players had long left for the privacy of the changing room. Yet here was a true, honorary Ulsterman there till the death. Goodie, and RaveOn..you are incorrigable, you two!!..tho' must admit it's a lovely, happy snap of the kid.
I'm sure he takes after my side of the family, tho' that is false pretence, 'cause he does image his father...BUT, from me, he inherits...that outspokeness, that smile, that sense of mischief,..and those lovely high cheek bones..!!! The ears will need some 'work'..thanks to dreaded Rugby..!

and Judy you wouldn't need to spend your money on plastic surgery for him (he's just perfect the way he is) .... could you lend it to me for some lippo instead
