Cardiff Blues V Ulster

Post by Setanta »

Not having the Ulster game to watch I saw most of the other games on TV/PC. I thought the Blues were lucky against Treviso. Their five tries were three interceptions against the run of play and two pieces of individual brilliance; one by Fish and a crash ball by Roberts. As the man said luck can be as effective as anything else! I was impressed by the organisation of Edinburgh, Treviso and the Scarlets especially at the breakdown but not with the blues. Obviously this can change overnight but TBH the blues were presented with the win rather than earning it.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

I'm looking forward to this on Friday, an opportunity for the guys to get back into normality. Lets hope we can unleash some of our emotions on the Blues.

Gilroy and p called to Ireland training this week so that will be yet another 2 missing training with Ulster.

Dont see this game being close at all. Its goes one of two ways.

1. Ulster come out so fired up and absolutely walk all over Cardiff

or

2. Ulster come out too fired up with emotion, choke and Cardiff put 20/30 points on us.

Dont see any inbetweens in this one.

Agree Fuzzy but with Muller etc I would say he will set the guys straight and we will win.

By my count this make 13 Ulster players attending the Ireland camp - does anyone know he actual date of the camp?

If it is this week I can't help feeling it will impact preparations for Friday nights game - thoughts? :salut:

That means 2 days training together then I would reckon for entire Ulster squad.
