Backrow isn't our weakest place in terms of depth, however, with Wilson a couple of weeks away and Diack still out, we could deffo do with Nick.

At the moment we have no other 8 cover. Diack and Wilson are injured, and nobody else is a specialist there. Only option I could think of is move Henry to 8 and bring in someone at 7.

Looked like a smack to the ribs that the big lad will laugh off in the week to come..

Henderson can play 8! Is he registered for the Heiny? He would be my pick. Hopefully Nick will be ok he got us moving a few times tonight.

bang on that man. henry to 8, mcormish to 7 with either hendo or doyle on the bench. Decent backrow but average in terms of the HEC.

Diack apparently is a lot worse than first thought.

Hook doesn't rate Nick (I wouldn't worry about that) but Quinlan reckons he needs to be playing every week or he'd be inclined to pile on the pounds (at least I think that's what he said).

Not good - is this related to that haematoma?
