Who was your ULSTER MOTM v Treviso2?

Post by fermain »

Hard to tell in this weather, but....who would you choose vaguely to be the man of the match?

Only "saw" the first 10 and last 10 minutes, and listened to Gusher for the bits in between, so will vote later when I have watched the recording, but in the bits I saw, I was VERY impressed by Sean Doyle's tackle count .... again.

I went for Paddy Jackson because he was on tv a few times with some close ups.

On a side note I think Jackson is now the top points scorer in the HC this season.

Honestly impossible to say. Most of the time the camera man couldn't tell where the ball was. For his part in the first try to liven up the match maybe Payne. Perhapes the travelling fans had a better view. BR would have been happy - nobody could have seen the big screen to "kill the Atmosphere"

Travelling fans reported that they did not know we had scored a try just before half time until the ref gave it as they could not see from the stand. Weather described as brutal

You taking the pish? You couldn't see anything!
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Impossible to tell.

I did think Pienaar was very quick to the breakdowns in the first half though. That's just about the only player you could easily identify in the loose before the fog got worse.

Ruan...although from my place in the stand and the haze of Prosecco could have been the bloke who cleans the toilets.

In the parts that could be seen, Doyle and Herring were both impressive, again but I'm going to go for Diack and resist the urge to jump on the "unseen work" joke bandwagon...

... and Ulster's opponents are the collective low scorers in this year's competition. Just 27 pts conceded so far is a magnificent effort (Leinster are 2nd with 41) and to concede just 3 in today's conditions was also a fantastic job. :thumleft:

Nah. Zebo wasn't that good for Ulster, this evening. Kicked the ball into the pitch, he did. Lucky bounce, it was. Probably a forward pass, too... :duck:
