More Irish games are set to be played on Friday for the sake of Setanta TV, although some will remain on Sundays.
Or maybe not .....

What the feck are Setanta at?? NOW they want to have more Friday games, this, of course, is good news but why then did they c*ck-up everything last season??

Because for the initial part of the season they didn't have a Friday night broadcasting slot but that changed around Xmas. CL still shouldn't have sold out to them as they don't reach anywhere near enough households.

I don't think we can complain about their potential penetration, but at £114 for what looks like 3 (ulster) matches - there's not too many who could afford it.

Ah but it is only potential and not actual. TG4 reached far more households when they had the contract even though the picture wasn't great and I couldn't understand a word of it :x
