Re: The Second Half Was Nothing Short of Atrocious
We played Clive at 7 and had Wilson on the bench. Our hookers are better backrowers than those two.
Maybe our backs aren't as good as we like to think. All we do is crab across the pitch. Maybe if we had a forward who could carry the ball it would stop defences fanning across the pitch.
As I've stated already Marshall should not play for Ulster again, are Shanahan or our academy boys any worse? Need to do what we did with PJ and drop them in now.

Agree with you on the back row Jackie. We are effectively playing with 2 and a bit backrowers in the absence of Henry and Coetzee - C Ross may have improved but not to this level and Wilson has gone from Mr Dependable (his main asset) to anything but. He has not been anywhere near this level for the oast season and a bit. Every team needs 4 backrowers for 80 mins and we are sadly lacking there.
The biggest problem was that we didn't kill the game with those chances we had in the first half and maybe the start of the 2nd. If we had gone in another 7 ahead i am not sure Bordeaux would have been up for the fight. Instead they very much were and we couldn't get our hands on the ball. Even so we almost got away with it.

Will Bryn get fined by Logan for his comments?

I am drunk off.
The restart cost them two weeks ago exactly the same. I blame the coaches for not dealing with the restart error.
Wilsons pass after defending for so long was criminal.
Beagle...... I'm lost for words.

He said we were atrocious, the performance was a disgrace and some players should hang their heads in shameGerald the Mole wrote:Russ wrote:Will Bryn get fined by Logan for his comments?

In all fairness Gerald some of those wives have now even been inside Kingspan albeit only when being corporately entertained. I say Kingspan because we have sold everything we have including the kitchen sink to pay for these trips.. I know some that didn't make it but they wanted to line up the Clermont game because they had already holidayed in Bordeaux and wanted to try somewhere else… Great to have that choice and to know that UR are putting their hands in their pockets to pay for it.Gerald the Mole wrote:What comments.

Rodney Ah Feck was imperious in his work ethic (ahem).... AAT put in 2 mighty sit downs.... Man shamed the pack. Life without Pienaar might cost Ulster 2 season tickets next year.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
