Remember when BOD played his last game at Ravenhill...
Now maybe I need corrected here....
But when BOD played his last game and when he went off, the stadium stopped and clapped the Mexican off....
Now in front of me today were a few Mexican fans, passionate yes.... Typically D4... Sadly yes...
When Roger went off they did nothing and the Lienster team bar Isa... Just stood, he clapped.
When Ruan went off the Mexicans lost contact with their hands and all bar Conan clapped Ruan off.
Now maybe I'm from another age, but the modern professional mindset is a very sad evolution toward brainless tribalism.
Id hazard a guess that the Turnips would have acted differently...
As I Say I hope someone can correct me and rebuild my faith in Irish fans and tell me some Mexicans showed a bit of respect for the game...

Cant comment on this as I didn't watch the Leinster players but I noticed Mike Ross on the touchline. Id have liked him to have played for the opportunity of showing him some appreciation.

Fleg me old china, you are rarely wrong and you're not wrong here. Leinster fans are a shower and Turnips are by and large decent and hospitable.

Disagree, Leinsterfans around me stood and applauded Ruan off.

Good to hear, the ones in front of me let their team down badly.

I have some relations from Leinster. They were disgusted with the FIRFU as they regularly watch Ulster and love Pienaar.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

I noticed the same thing, Fleg. I think the only Leinster player to clap either one off was Nacewa when Ruan left the pitch and I'm not even sure that he wasn't just geeing his own players up.

Conan definitely did, and it wasn't just a half hearted attempt. I doff my cap...

Only saw Nacewa but maybe that's why they are winners and Ulster aren't?

I said the same thing to Mrs Fleg. You wanna beat Lienster you gotta copy them, if silverware means I have to become a myopic arsehole fan, and the team become cynical cheats if they can't win classy then I'm not sure where I stand. Lienster are the cheap copy of the All Blacks, well ahead of anyone else on a good say and by feck the most bad ass cheating gurning fecks on a bad day but still win. Sad to see but apart from some fans I know personally they are followed by loads more 'we're brill, feck the rest of you' dick heads than we are and that is saying something.

Look, I live in Mexico and I'm surrounded by Mexican fans all the time.
By and large the mexico fans are dead on. Most of them are appalled at how Nuciwankbag and the rest of his mates have treated Pienaar. Most of them realise he's been screwed over. Most of them would clap him off the field if circumstances permitted it.
Nacewa is a class act. I don't begrudge him getting an extension from the IRFU, he's a class act and players would do well to learn from him.
I disagree with any notion that Leinster fans are happy to see ruan go. The majority I know are disgusted with the IRFU.
Nucifora can go suck a bit as far as I am concerned.
