Ulster v Edinburgh Friday April 21 7:35pm - Viaplay Sports 1 / URC TV / Super Sport

Post by Neill_M »

The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance team has issued a squad update ahead of Friday’s BKT United Rugby Championship fixture against Edinburgh Rugby at Kingspan Stadium.

Tom O’Toole sustained a calf injury in Friday’s URC Round 17 victory against Dragons at home. He will have an MRI scan today to further assess the extent of this injury.

Eric O’Sullivan was removed from play for a Head Injury Assessment in the same game. He will now follow the World Rugby Return to Play protocols.

Squad updates in association with The Ulster Independent Clinic.

So a full regular season has gone by, and still no sign of Addison. If he hasn't already been cut lose then time to do so

Advantage Edinburgh Front row, apart from Stewart bench isn't exactly the bomb squad with Milo and Reid

Strong enough team, though surprised not to see McCloskey, not sure if he's carrying a knock or just being rested. Hopefully some of the pack step it up a bit to chip in with the ball carrying threat we lose without him.

Bookies have Ulster -11 / Edinburgh +11, seems a lot given the two sides.

They had Ulster -16 earlier in the week. I think both are generous especially now we have seen the team sheet. It would have been really good to have stu for this one and the embra team is loaded with threats. They'll murder us at the breakdown.
