Re: Leinster v Ulster Sat 8 June @ 5pm

Was Moore not in front of the kicker for his try? Was it checked? No idea, but see some of the Leinster ones gunning about it w.r.t. poor refereeing. They notice that and none of the litany of things that went against us. Not long in to the second half, Brace missed a knock on, but they showed a re...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Sat 8 June @ 5pm

Fans on their forum concentrating on the big questions, like where their hypothetical final against Munster will be played. One was even proposing to send a squad out to SA to get acclimatised for the bulls match...in advance of this game. Their first team watching Harry Byrne help Ulster to victor...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Sat 8 June @ 5pm

Taking the fact Leinster are serial chokers as a given, theres a 1/3 chance it'll be today they do it. Our job is to turn up and watch them implode.

Does anyone have any pub recommendations for the Treviso match tomorrow in D4? Want to see who we'll be playing in the semi. :stir:

Re: Munster 1st June 2024 @ 5.15pm.

One of the biggest takeaways from the match for me was how well Izzy and Sheridan went together. I'd assumed we'd only ever seen one at a time because we wanted an experienced head for lineouts or similar, but now think that's horlix. Hope we see both starting together from now on. If Hendo is fit, ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Sat 8 June @ 5pm

What are the chances we'll get to see Harry Byrne again? He's been integral in both of our wins over Leinter this year, including a perfectly floated pass for Jacob's try at Ravenhill.

Re: Welcome to Ulster, Aidan Morgan.

Supposedly a good running and bold 10 who makes breaks and plays to the line but has questionable kicking ability. Very unlikely to be the answer for ulster but would love to be proved wrong. It does sound to me very much like he is a Mike Lowry mk2. We never gave him a proper crack at ten, so we'r...

This'll be a big hit to Leinster, wonder how much money they'll need to find to cover a third of the central contracts for their players.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

I remember when Will first came and I saw how good he was I was confused that he didn't already have 50 odd caps for England, then we saw why he didn't. Would have had a chance of being world class if he wasn't made of glass.

To be honest I actually think we're OK at lock. I think both the academy guys in that position have a good shot of making the grade, so don't mind being one short, with a chance they'll see game time.

Re: Ulster v Leinster Saturday May 18 7:35pm TG4 / Premier Sports (UK) 1 / Premier Sports (Ireland) 1 / Super Sport / UR

It must be nice for John McKee to get to play pro rugby at Ravenhill after seeing Tom Stewart chosen for our academy ahead of him and having to go elsewhere for his rugby. He might have a point to prove when they're both on in the second half. Feeling strangely confident this morning, which is dange...

Need to be careful with luxuries like that, if they seem too nice then Leinster will decide they want them.
