Re: Ulster vs Cardiff
Whitten: 47 Ulster caps to date 6 tries I still have the impression that he is 'unsure' of himself when he plays. Cables, the statement you have made is somewhat vague. Would you care to elaborate on how you have formed your impression, perhaps with the use of specific games or incidents. If there ...

Re: Ulster vs Cardiff
Still not totally sure on this Whitten on the wing theory. Would Darcy not have been better? Having said that it could still work out. It's interesting, what have other people thought of him so far? I must say I was quite impressed by him in the first game and there have been quite a few successful...

Just say you skyplussed it...answer it from that perspective. Bearing in mind fast forwarding the Aussie tries is cheatingSnipe Watson wrote:How about the 'I'll be at my 2 son's school matches' option

Re: Team Versus Australia
So far I think I've only encountered one person who thinks the decision to bench AT has any merit. (Not counting the several hundred "the team is the team, get over it and get behind them Yeeeeeoooow!" types." I see what yer saying but come kick off will you be watching/supporting or...

Re: Team Versus Australia
(Dave - no personal attack intended but your post last week did indicate that Earls' selection was to give AT a rest before the Aussie game. Obviously you forgot to tell Kidney. But hey lets move on). Me- I hope to be on the golf course. I didn't say that anything about Trimble getting a rest, I sa...

Re: Ulster vs Cardiff
Im intrigued as to McL's thought process when picking that back row. Cardiff are fielding one of the best No.7's in world rugby in recent years . . . and he decides to leave our one and only genuine openside out of the matchday squad altogether. hmmmmmmmmmmm. Agree with this, would seem like a good...

Firstly . . . Dave, was the other Ireland v Australia thread HollywoodMike made 10 hours before this not good enough for you? I didn't think it was good enough for you  Honestly didn't see it, but then is seems to be about bars to watch the game and not the game itself. Clearly no one else...

Re: Team Versus Australia
Let's see who starts next week before we start complaining Trimble has proved himself, give him a rest this week LTHG, I think you're being slightly over emotional in your analysis to the selection my friend. Think on it again. Remember the last World Cup and EOS was selecting the same team for abo...

Ireland v Australia
Stephen Ferris sat out training today as a 'precaution', read into that what you may. Yet there remains a few selection issues for Declan Kidney to resolve. How will the backrow shape up? Half-backs could be anyones guess. Will it be Trimble or Earls? Anyone wish to share their thoughts on selection...
