Re: Bordeaux Away 16th Oct

Hi No9 I was there for a long weekend in May. Planes, hotel and tickets sorted for October :red: Stayed central and then ate / drank in and around the Place du Parlement quite a bit. Really enjoyed it, locals very friendly, beautiful city and plenty of places to eat and drink whatever your taste. Yo...

Re: Thanks

Glad you had a good time in Belfast Gryff and good luck in the semi against Clermont - I hope its a great game. Shame your Mrs feels like that, but I completely understand where she is coming from as mine feels the same way about going to Sarries games, following our experience and abuse at the quar...

Re: Heineken replacement to be announced thjis week

Well as much as I could there was a fair bit written all over the place, I do have other things to do as well - not sure what you mean BR. We are where we are after a couple of years of posturing, politicking, brinkmanship and games at what point do we move on.

Re: Heineken replacement to be announced thjis week

Hi TB - quick question so I am enlightened - Tigers were beaten home and away by Ulster, do you now feel so compelled to have some sort of victory, that you have to keep banging on about the Super 99 Raspberry Ripple Cup to get a victory (of any kind) on here ? Serious question - can't for the life ...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

"They have offered me cut price access to BT Sport, I've offered to leave them if they don't wise the fook up & never ever mention BT Sport to me. So far looks as if we have a deal."

Isn't that what the ERC have said about BT Sport too ? >EW

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

I think they are already trialling playing games back to back, so they can play 2 games each every weekend. Isn't that what Sarries are doing ? Means they should be able to play the Super AP (or whatever it could become) and still leave weekends free for the Global Super Rugby Champions Cup against ...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Yet more thousands and thousands of words written over the last 24 hours all over the t'internet, but one of the suggestions in a couple of places, is that if the Welsh were to join the AP, is that it could be ring fenced..... many of the Welsh seem to feel that the AP is the route to riches and suc...

Re: World Cup Tickets

Fair play Aye

Not trying to get the last word or anything.... >EW

But.... Ireland v New Zealand at the Aviva- Premium ticket was about £75
Ireland v Europe 2 at the World Cup - Cat A ticket will be £175

I think there is a bit of perspective there :red:

Re: World Cup Tickets

True I didn't take them to Lansviva for Samoa - we would have needed flights and hotel so that would have lumped a wee bit of cost on top >EW

I think they are overpriced - what category is your seat for Italy at Lansviva for £55 ? - excuse my ignorance Aye :red:

Re: World Cup Tickets

Would I take the family (2 adults 2 kids) to see Ireland v Europe 2 for £70 - yes
Would I take the family to see Ireland v Europe 2 for £130 - no

Each to their own I suppose though

Re: World Cup Tickets

Full pricing and scheduling is on the Planet Rugby twitter feed for anyone interested and hasn't seen it Funnily enough France v Ireland group game at the Millenium cheapest seat is £50 that's not bad - but looks like Ireland are in the same price category with New Zealand overall, with only England...

Re: World Cup Tickets

Just seemed a bit high to me - Ireland bundle for 4 group games in France was circa £150 for all games in CatB - this time on prices advertised its about £550 like for like comparison. Nearly four times the price jump in 8 years For the Europe 2 game that is in Wembley too - big old stadium for mayb...

Surely there must be space for Dylan on the supporting card as well as Gats ?

Chuck in a veterans bout and lets have Austin Healey in there too.
