Re: Oyonnax - encore un fois

The Ulster official party used three buses today at the airport, one for the team and management, I can only assume the other two buses were for essential persons to help on the quest for world domination. Recent branch financial report shared concerns at a shortage of funds to pay the wages being a...

Re: Scarlets XV v Ulster 'A'

Has anyone seen Young lining out for Quins of late? Because from seeing him in his pre Queens days he most certainly was not a winger. Could be a matter of need, or are you offering to pull the boots on. I wouldn't say I would be of much use but the problem I have is that I don't think playing him ...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

You have to question, who in the IRFU blocked Moores move to Munster, was it for the betterment of Irish rugby or looking after your old club and countries interest, something rotten with these aussies

Re: Kingspan Capacity?

UR are still limited by Health and Safety to only increasing the numbers very slowly, game by game and SL says it will be next season before we get to the 18,196 figure. But it will happen. Rocky, I believe if capacity is say 18000 there has to be " space" kept so maybe only ever 17000 so...

Re: Ulster v Barnet Bellends

IIRC McCloskey did not come through the Academy set up but through club rugby, the then academy coaches did not deem him good enough, McCloskey was playing club rugby for Dungannon under the coaching of Fitzpatrick and Campbell when he was ripping up trees, as a 18/19 year old. Simpson did he come t...

Re: Munster v Ulster Friday 30th Oct 6pm TG4/BBCNI

So the players went down yesterday, to have ample rest and recovery for the game, no way would they get the players up at the screech of dawn today, bus them down for an important game like this, just to save a few shekels .

Re: Ravens dead Ulster A is alive

In years gone by the head of the Academy was alway the A team or Ravens head coach, this year we see the Academy assistant Coach as head of the Ravens, is this showing a change of focus or non association with the potentially embarrassing results coming up.

Re: Ulster v Ospreys Fri 4th Sept 7:35pm ko

Think bazzaj just typed most of what needed saying. I thought the best bit was the defence. It wasn't perfect - they actually made clean breaks and beat more defenders - but it was vicious and switched on. Always got a turnover of some sort when we really needed one. I felt like the Ospreys were ne...

Re: Ulster v Ospreys Fri 4th Sept 7:35pm ko

So going by who's included/excluded in this week's team, I'm going to take an educated guess that our injury list is now: - Callum Black - Ruaidhri Murphy (since he was back-up loosehead for the friendlies but is now out) - Robbie Diack - Ian Humphreys - Sam Windsor - Stuart Olding I know Olding an...

Re: Qualifying Rugby

I see North downs finest have a very tasty player, lucky for them he just turned up out of the Blue. Looked at his CV page (professionally made for players looking for European contracts)what a waste of money if you want to play for the love of the game and note take any inducements.

Re: Kit Launch

Surely the details of business deals are between the businesses concerned and not something we have a right to know. We may find them interesting but we have no public-interest "right to know". I would expect the Ulster branch to and/or the central IRFU to hold their employees in Ulster R...
