Re: Dragons v Ulster Sun 8th Nov 2:30pm Dave Parade BBCNI

As I posted elsewhere, a critical game. Glass half empty: Possible 4 away game losses out of 4 leading into the big guys, not quaking in their boots. Half full: positives from Thomond confirmed with strong away win, top four league place and confidence, big guys probably still not quaking but that's...

Re: Munster v Ulster Friday 30th Oct 6pm TG4/BBCNI

Three away games, three losses, Saracens looming large in the next three weeks. For me the Dragons game can be one of those low key affairs where the result might not make a huge difference to the league but can be a turning point if the guys deliver at Rodney Parade, where we lost last year and ind...

Re: Scarlets v Ulster Sat 12th Sep 3pm Sky

Ok, I can't add anything to the comments already posted, can't imagine that anyone on that plane back from Wales was feeling great either. Can I, in all humility, suggest that training next week should go along the following lines: Monday: Video review, balls out, nowhere to hide, get Mike Gibson an...

Re: Scarlets v Ulster Sat 12th Sep 3pm Sky

Ok we're in the last minute with a losing BP, we have the opportunity to spread out wide and take up the pitch, or even hoof the ball out, but we check back inside in front of the posts and give away an easy penalty, what are we doing and what do we rehearse during the week, please tell me, cause it...

Big fan of Paddy and Ulster to the core, but if I was the coach and he'd tried that drop goal from 5 miles out and was charged down, he'd a been on the next bus home, needs to get his head right, play the percentages, not Hollywood as old Hansen used to say!

Re: Belfast Telegraph...

Am missing the rugby, boredom drives me to read the Telegraph online, five key headlines today (July 29th): 1. Video clip of motorist pushing a cyclist into a hedge 2. Brendan Rodgers fighting his estranged wife over a 102 property portfolio (as if 51 properties would leave him destiture) 3. London...

Piutau looking very good: speed, strength, good hands and seems to be in the right place at the right time; this isn't rugby as we know it mind, twice the speed

Re: Glasgow vs Ulster - Live updates

I really, really hope we get to the final and if we do, fair play, but I feel that we let ourselves and the league down yesterday! The result means we ended up a fairly poor fourth, only a handful of points ahead of the much derided Leinster and I think one of our lowest in several years (?), progre...

Re: Round 19 - Connacht v Ulster - Sat 11th April 2.40pm

I couldn't be arsed working it out, so could someone maybe do me a favour and tell me if we beat both Munster and Leinter (8 points), can we be caught for second place?

Re: Toulon v Ulster, Saturday 17th May

I have never posted before but have just seen the latest team news and could not hold back! On my way to Nice from, would you believe it, Poland via Paris, spending a lot of hard earned cash and pissing the missus off, not in expectation of a victory but at least in expectation of an effort. If we a...
