Re: Thank you, Brian

Bumped into the team as they were going into Stormont this evening and managed to get a few words with Brian. Shook his hand and thanked him for a wonderful season. He's a gent. I really hope things work out for him.

Re: Big Screen At City Hall

Custom House Sq would be ideal. The amount of hype the local media are already heaping on this will be immense. Having only missed a handful of games at Ravers in the past seven or eight seasons am gutted I won't be able to get to Twickenham. Am sure there are many more out there feeling the same.

Re: 2012 schools Cup.

Two very evenly-matched teams at Osborne on Saturday. Overall I'd have to say Ballyclare deserved the win. They have a great defence and held out magnificently against the Inst onslaught in the last 10 mins. Their try came from an impressive patch of dominant forward play in the Inst 22. Young lad s...

Re: Northampton V Ulster Live

Few years back standing on the old terrace on a filthy, pi$hing night in October the final whistle blows. Yet another drubbing for Ulster. My mate turns to me and says, "that's it, season's over." Seemed to go on like that for years. What a turnaround. The lads have given us a hell of an e...

"The Black Pig's Dyke was a barrier erected by kings of Ulster between 300BC and 300AD to protect against invasion, " apparently.
