So sad to see what was a great talent having to retire from rugby at such a young age. I wish him all the best for his future and believe he is already sorely missed!!

Sad indeed, he had a big future ahaed of him which will sadly be unfulfilled. We don't have much luck with our home grown 7s, McMillan, Pollock and Faloon being stuck in a cupboard.

Disappointing news for a player who should have contributed so much more to Ulster. It is always sad to see player retire through injury especially so early in what was widely expexcted to be a glittering career.

Thanks David for giving everything you could for our pleasure. And best of luck for the future. :salut:

very sad new indeed, when he was fit he was as good as faloon but sadly this was never usually the case, it was sad to see him when you knew he was carrying an injury because he was clearly struggling, not surprising really when at its worst he couldn't bend down to pull up his socks, so how he was expected to challange for the ball on the ground is beyond me.

I am very sorry to hear about this as I was sure a fully fit Pollock would have made the Irish WC team.
It's a tough old game with a huge attrition rate.
