I think it's more the case that despite Sarries assurances, he's not getting to play at 12 (or 10)
Farrell and Barritt have made those shirts their own...
whereas in Toulon JW will be missing for 6Ns, contepomi is injured. he should be getting some sort of a shot there.
and from what i've read of it, his deal with toulon is performance based only - so money grabbing doesnt come into it (unless the rent he'll save bumming it on jonny wilkinson's floor... hey jonny, while you're in england why dont i look after your pad, someone's gotta clean the pool...)
Left hand, right hand, it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious.
for dog and ulcer wrote:Gavin Henson celebrated his debut for Toulon in the French championship by scoring his side's fourth try in a 38-10 home win over Stade Francais.
The 29-year-old crossed in the 67th minute and went on to complete the full 80 minutes at inside centre.
Henson had been out of action since January after injuring his calf playing for Saracens against Leinster.
Apparently Toulon are hoping to include him in the Heineken squad after the quarter final.
Thats pretty cocky of them
“That made me feel very special and underlined to me that Ulster is more than a team, it is a community and a rugby family" Rory Best
Not really how the assistant coach put it- if they progress past the next game he said- the failure to add any provisos was mine. Anyway they may well beat Perpignan.
There was an interview with Henson in the rugby world magazine asking about all the dirt and he said the Toulon offer was too good to turn down. As long as he is getting good money and the Welsh set up can see him he does not care which club he plays for and that irritates me. Players like Wannenburg, Muller and Danielli have said that they love playing at Ulster and showing that loyalty to the club/province is important.
When life gives you lemons - take them because hey... it's free lemons.
