I said right at the start of the rumour I'd give Fat Nick a chance, that was based on 6 tries in 10 games in a back peddling useless attacking Aironi side. Yes and out for 3 mths with injury. 10 tries as an 8 in the 2 seasons with the worst attacking team in the league!!!!ruckover wrote:Of Fuzzy's list I'm only worried about 3 of the replacements, which is good. But if the new NIQ is indeed Nick Williams, then it'll be 3+1Nope, there was a different policy announced before that one, which limited the NIQ number to 4.Mac wrote:Is there a chink of light in this from what we already knew....becauseulsterrr wrote:http://www.irishrugby.ie/news/25137.php

if there is I can't see it? I would actually say it has got tighter in relation
to injury replacements?
With a better team, pack and new forward orientated coach I think Williams will do fine. Not saying I would have him as my first choice either! But some are just a little bit to worried about the wrong player?
However I would be really unhappy at having to rely on McComish or McComb week in week out! Remember asking Dr Dave at meet the players what impact would David Pollocks medical retirement have on the squad and would we be getting in an able replacement, you can imagine my shock when he passed my question onto the specialist 7 on the panel that night who was nearly as taken back as me, yes Mike McComish! Nice fella but not gonna set the world alight. As regards McComb, I can't believe Barker going Caldwell gone and us being stuck with big Neil. Again a lovely lad but it's not politics were in the business of!
Whoever we have on the field with a Red Hand on the chest, I will make sure they will hear my bellows of SUFTUM
