I take it that's a yes!?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
Re: Game against Zebre
Good game on ss 413 after that show, though a victory is a victory.

Thanks. Well I don't have to be too sad I missed it then.

Any grounds for the citing commissioner to see if he can find it?

Away from home a win's a win.

Zebra looked good at times - we got 4 points - no serious injuries.
Job done.

Sorry, but all I can think of in reply is, a rather petulant, whatever.LastKnightoftheproms wrote:I don't know about that Baggy. Zebre haven't been tanked by any team this season and that was them at home and full strength. I thought we were value for the win and those are the games when we will have to tolerate to develop the strength in depth that many think we should have.BaggyTrousers wrote:I think Dan tackled shoulder first but the AR refused responsibility and the TMO couldn't find the incident.
This has been as bad as Scaaaaaaaaaaaalets except for the result. Awful rubbish. Possibly as bad a HC warm up as we have ever had.
Oh alright then:
A depressing waste of time, one moments inspiration and probably just about enough perspiration.
Both half-backs kicked like drains.
p shockingly bad yet again when asked to start.
Roger made plenty of tackles but missed almost as many. Doyle hates a head-on tackle, lets his man past then attempts a grab.
Pack was apparently 50 Kgs heavier yet messed up at scrum time more than I was comfortable.
Lineout left much to be desired at times
Trimble never ever received a pass to give him a run, Gilroy one or two but much the same.
We played embarrassing amounts of time without a look at the ball.
Defence largely decent but gave lots of metres against their bigger runners too many times.
Hugely underwhelming performance. Grateful for 4 points, job done after a fashion.

Re: Game against Zebre
It was just one of those games. A fixture squeezed in between the AIs and the HEC. These are always bad games and players are never up for them. Guys don't want to get injured, yada, yada, yada. Means little in the context of next week just a fixture to get past without losing any players.

Finished
Re: Game against Zebre
Was hoping we'd be slightly more convincing but as others on here are saying - a win's a win, take it and run. There were times in that game I thought we were going to lose.
Anybody else worried about the fact that Zebre nearly always had an overlap out wide?

You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Was Herring injured? I asumed he came off to give Annett some game time before the next two big games.
