Could be King, on the other hand was that the first time we've scored 4 tries in France?

Did we not get four against Montpelier?

Two immediate things:

McComish at 7. God help us.

Is playing Payne at 15 now something we only do in experimental, nothing-to-lose games? . . .

EDIT: Also, Reidy - whose ma has that man slegged off to fall behind the Icelandic Warrior Moron that is McComish . . .

Quote on thread from Rorybigbalnoggin, just shows the tripe on these threads all those with rose tinted glasses you can take them off we were slaughtered and only got those tries because Toulon were not on top gear. Gash

I'm fairly convinced we have the money. I've heard it on good authority that when 1F went public with it he hit the nail on the head. Obviously, we are very severely restricted, by the parent organisation, in who we can sign.

I completely agree. There's been a freedom to play and an absence of aimless, timid hoofball.
All hall marks of what I would have called 'Doak-ball' from his Ulster underage sides and Queens.

Part of my frustration, and to a degree anger, from this season has been the let down from expecting some genuine attempt at total rugby when what we have actually consistently delivered is puke-ball.

Fair play to McComish, he actually helped secure us some decent ruck ball. Thought O'Connor was very good for us as well, stood toe to toe physically with a monsterous Toulon pack.

Not feeling the usual deflation that has become all too common after Ulster games this season win or lose.

Honestly can't remember... It'll be easier to get up for next week than if we'd gone there just trying to keep the score down.

The acid test.will be if we continue to play fast.attacking rugby,... See if we go back.to hoofball next week we deserve to get humped

How many teams have to Toulon in the Heiny/sooper-dooper cup and scored 4 trys with 3 scrum-halves and a Deccy-type prop on the field?

If we'd been playing that type of rugby in the Pro12. we'd have been strolling into the play-offs.

Zactly... There in lies the frustration... Stick our best 15 on the pitch and play like that, we could play rugny people will want to watch...

put in a good honest shift
Pity we shipped more injuries

We got one in 2013, from Trimble.

Pienaar's boot was the major source of points that day.

I wouldn't set too much store by the 4 tries. Nice and all that. It was a non event that turned into an entertaining contest.
